Q. Why can’t I checkout?   A. You must be logged in to place an order. This requires that you have a site sign-in, consisting of your email, a user name and a password. This process can be completed on the right hand sidebar of this site.

Q. Help! When I click the Bookstore all the store contents are showing in my basket.  A. Clicking the Bookstore tab allows the viewing of all site products. The computer assumes you are making all these purchases. This is easily remedied by simply removing the items you are not buying from your cart, before checkout.

Q. I want to purchase a hardback version of a Muse book. How can I tell if I am getting that?  A. Versions of books are designated by: h-hardback, p-paperback, d-download. The type of book is also listed on the pages where each book is described in full. This information will also be present at checkout.

Q. Where is the cart? How do I know what items I have selected and the quantities?  A. Cart information and checkout are located on a separate page entitled Checkout within the Bookstore tab.

Q. There are too many items in my cart! How can I change that?  A. Quantities can be manually changed in the cart-simply by typing in your desired quantity and pressing update. The cart has a memory and will reflect what you have selected/viewed. You are in control at checkout, therefore, simply enter your correct quantities.

Q. Why can I not get an item into my cart?  A. This indicates the item is sold out. Please feel free to request further information from us by using the Pen A Note form found in the above header tabs.

Q. Why does the cart empty everything when I select remove?  A. The Checkout system is purely a software program and needs your guidance. It will follow your remove all command to give you a clean slate; from which you can easily begin the ordering process anew.

Q. I don’t want to use this secure cart system what are my options?  A. First, please know that the Muse server runs through the Paypal network., one of the most secure networks in the world. One option is to allow the site Administrator to invoice you upon your request (See The Pen A Note Form). If you prefer Muse books are also available at Amazon.

Q. Am I safe to enter my payment information?   A. Payments are made through a Secure Server, denoted by the colorized url. You will be taken to Paypal for checkout.

Q. Why do you need my email?  A. Emails are utilized to prevent spam as well as the chosen method to communicate with our customers such relevant information regarding purchases, refunds, shipments etc. Muse & Company does not sell, rent or giveaway any information on this site if not mandated by law to do so.

Q.  I  received an email newsletter last month but nothing this month, is there a problem?  A. Purchase from this site activates a quarterly newsletter “Muse Moments”. To sign up without a purchase you may subscribe by looking in the header tabs under Muse News…then click the Muse Moments Newsletter tab. You may opt to unsubscribe by clicking that option in your quarterly.

Q. I wanted to buy a book yesterday and did not. Today it is ten cents higher! What happened?  A. Pricing on any item is not guaranteed before the actual Date Of Purchase. The reasons include several factors such as printing and shipping. Muse & Company makes no profit on shipping and continues to strive for the most efficient methods of delivering products to our customers.

Q. I want my book right away how can I get it here asap.  A. Muse carries inventory of the Muse’s books as well makes orders directly from the publishing/print house.  If your book is in stock, your order will ship, usually, the next business day. Method of shipping will be noted on each book’s description page. Please note that in case out of stock books ~ ordering/ manufacturing process precedes shipping. This usually adds 5 days to the delivery time. For Pre-Order books, those customers who made purchases will be served first. In cases that are urgent, please contact the Administrator through the Pen A Note form and to receive links and names of other stores who carry the Muse’s books.

Q. I have a question that is not answered here, now what?  A. Please use the Pen A Note form to contact the site Administrator.

Q. How can I obtain a signed copy from the author, Muse?  A. Any book in paper form ordered from the Muse’s Bookstore can easily be signed before delivery. Please send a note promptly making your request; as often books are sent the next business day from the time of ordering. Unless a specific phrase or greeting is required or requested, Muse will sign the book in a manner of her choosing.

Q. I did not order from here. But I wish I had a Muse signed copy. Can I exchange my unsigned copy?  A. Muse offers cards and/or book plaques that can be signed and mailed to you. Presently there is no exchange program.

Q. I do not use Facebook. Does the Muse write there?  A. Yes she does. Even non-Facebook users can click the Facebook link and read the Muse’s “wall” (page).

Q. Why can’t I see my changes?  A. Try logging out and logging back into the site. If this doesn’t help please attempt to clear your cache to get the freshest view from your browser.

Q. The comment sections on the Museland sites state  “Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time”.  How can I give my feedback? A. Currently Muse offers her readers and viewers of her Museland diaries the option of commenting through the Pen A Note form above.
